Our Background

Island Glass and Shutter is a new name on an old face!  Times have changed but our products and service remains consistently top notch. Moving forward as Island Glass and Shutter doesn't change our history on the Outer Banks since 1984... As Dare Glass, Inc., Island Glass and Mirror, and Dare Glass and Shutter, Phil is still your man for residential and commercial glass and mirror. With increases in building code and insurance requirements, Phil added Weather Masters Hurricane Shutter Systems in 1998 to meet your special new build and home improvement needs.

Island Glass and Shutter, LLC is the new name for a familiar Outer Banks family owned and operated business.  Times are changing and we are meeting the challenge with pride and confidence in our products, our service, and in your satisfaction!
